ok. so this is where i set the record straight. what is up with facebook. coming from someone that used to be against the infantile network. and now has close to five hundred contacts. where is the reasoning behind this swift change of heart you might ask. simple. the question is what are you using it for. i am someone that enjoys comfort and keeping contact. being on the other side of the globe it enables me to see and hear what people are up to. it makes my life easier. and people respond faster on facebook than via email. why i dont know. but it is the truth. i do not agree with people playing poker and racing silly little cars on the network. but that is their choice i guess. each to his own. then there is also the privacy issue. some people dont like being poked and peeked at. i respect that. then there are others that enjoy making friends and dont have anything to hide. we put crazy and silly pictures on our profiles to show the world we are indeed living life. like most things in life dont criticize something before you have given it a proper go. i made that mistake and are still paying the price by being ridiculed for the number of contacts i have accumilated in the past three months. perhaps it says something about me. what can i say. i like making new friends...
